Periodically the JVM runs 'garbage collection' cycles of varying degrees of aggressiveness, searching for and freeing objects that are no longer needed. The JVM is configured with a maximum amount of memory that it is allowed to use when allocating objects, the 'heap'. Whilst it would be nice to have better stats than is available it is after all on a phone not a desktop/laptop.BiglyBT runs within the Java garbage collected virtual machine (JVM). Other than that it does what it says on the tin. That would save a bit of finger trouble on my part. I'd give it 5* if i could set the biglyBT private directory as the default save location. But i experienced one problem which is when you add a torrent sometimes it takes time to load after which a pop up appears where you have to click on ADD. It is a good alternative to utorent for smart TV.
BIGLYBT MOBILE FOR ANDROID
It is a good app for Android TV but with some slight glitches. Does anyone have a solution for this issue? Thanks! In other words, between clicking on a torrent and actually having the torrent starting to download, at least 2 minutes pass. The app works fine on my Google tv the only problem is that added torrents appear relatively slowly, and without exception, I need to manually start them, since they are automatically added in a Stopped status. While there are features on the PC that I would like to see on the phone, the current stability and ease of use of the phone app more than make up for it. I have ran over 100 torrents (mostly complete) at a time with no stability issues. In fairness, I came in with the Vuze branching, this has had better support. I've been using BiglyBT on the phone and the PC for well over a year now. There are never any files in the Files folder, so I can't re-add my torrents. It did this in Oreo in my Samsung Note 8, and again in Pie after the update. I've had close to 30 in the list each time. Three times now I've opened the app to find an empty torrent list. I love this program, but I'm about to have to stop using it because it just can't be trusted to keep my torrents. ★ Progress ring's center fills with green based on share ratio ★ Tap & Hold on current DL/UL speed to set max speeds Run or download BiglyBT, Torrent Downloader Client using our android online emulator from If you have ideas to make torrent downloading easier and better in BiglyBT, visit our Issue Voting site.
